STARTER THROWING COURSE

2-DAY INTENSIVE COURSE: 
Each session runs for 3 hours: 1:30pm - 5pm: Recommended for ages 14 upwards

DAY ONE: An introduction to the pottery wheel: Join Frankie at her Ardleigh Studio for a fun 3.5hr session of throwing where she will run you through the basics of throwing, wedging, centering, pulling up the walls, as well as her favourite tips and techniques. 

DAY TWO: Turning bases and perfecting your piece: Uncover all of your thrown stoneware pots from yesterday and Frankie will show you how to trim the bases, pull handles and add any decoration.

Join Frankie for a creative session at her ceramics studio, see behind the scenes of the studio life at Frankie's, be inspired by the ceramics around you and begin making your very own masterpieces!

Ideal if you want to have a go at throwing, Frankie will be on hand to help and provide demonstrations so you can finesse your pieces and bring your ideas to life!
